A Novel Hybrid V- and Spoke-type PM Magnetic Gear

چکیده :
Magnetic gears (MGs) do not need to undergo routine maintenance in terms of cooling and lubrication, in contrast to typical mechanical gears. However, they do have certain restrictions, such as low torque density and high cogging torque. A coaxial magnetic gear is suggested in this study in order to simultaneously achieve the lowest cogging torque, the maximum torque density, and the lowest consumption of magnetic material. The proposed structure was optimized using a genetic optimization algorithm, and its magnetic and mechanical performances were evaluated using ANSYS Maxwell 2021-R1 and ANSYS Workbench 2021-R1 finite element software. A comprehensive comparison of the proposed structure with the conventional optimal structure shows the superiority of the proposed structure.
