چکیده :
The increasing use of electrical power in more electric aircraft yields new challenges in terms of modeling and analysis. The control and analysis of these systems require adequate modeling in time and frequency domains. In this paper, a dynamic average model for a variable-speed constant-frequency aircraft generating system is derived. Both rectifiers, connected to the pilot and the main exciters, are modeled in all rectification modes based on the mathematical average modeling approach. Also, a method is proposed for estimation of generator’s field current with access to the rotor position and exciter’s stator quantities. The proposed model is finally validated through comparison of simulations and experimental results.
