Enhanced Predictive Current Control Strategy for PMSMs in the Presence of Parameter Uncertainty

چکیده :
This paper presents an advanced model predictive current control strategy aimed at improving the stator current prediction accuracy of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors. Due to the strong reliance of predictive control algorithms on accurate system modeling, the proposed controller addresses the challenge of motor parameter uncertainties, which may arise from measurement errors or parameter drift over time. These uncertainties can impair prediction accuracy and degrade control performance. The proposed method incorporates a prediction error compensation mechanism to enhance robustness while effectively reducing current ripple. Additionally, it compensates for PWM delay and inverter dead time, factors that significantly affect real-time control performance. The control strategy is implemented and evaluated through MATLAB simulations. Results demonstrate a dynamic response with minimal current ripple and confirm the controller’s robustness under a range of parameter uncertainties, making it suitable for practical real-time applications.
