چکیده :
Current sharing in power converter systems has become an effective solution for achieving high output current in modern power electronics. However, the output capability of the switching converter is limited by the voltage and current rating of semiconductor devices. For instance, MOSFETs are typically rated around 1 kV and 100 A, while insulated-gate bipolar transistors can handle up to 6.5 kV. Several approaches have been proposed to overcome these limitations. However, due to mismatches in semiconductor parameters and parasitic elements, achieving equal power distribution between modules remains difficult. This paper introduces a new technique for output current equalization in modular LLC converters. The proposed method balances the output current of N LLC modules by adjusting the transformer inductance without adding any extra components. The effectiveness of the proposed approach was verified through MATLAB simulations for N=3 LLC converter modules, delivering a total output current of 130 A.
