چکیده :
The accurate localization of multiple Partial Discharge (PD) sources in Air-Insulated Substations (AIS) using Ultra-High-Frequency (UHF) technology is significantly challenged by environmental noise, signal reflections, and interference. Building upon the foundational methodology established in Part 1—which introduced an optimized biconical antenna, a diamond-Y antenna array, a high-fidelity AIS model with multiple PD sources, and a novel wavelet-based clustering framework—this paper presents the subsequent localization and comprehensive performance analysis. The robust platform developed in Part 1 is now employed to achieve accurate 3D localization. We detail the implementation of a Time Difference of Arrival (TDoA) algorithm to process the denoised and clustered PD signals. The results demonstrate the successful and accurate spatial localization of all five distinct PD sources within the complex substation environment, including challenging scenarios with no direct signal path. A rigorous quantitative analysis is presented, evaluating the system's localization accuracy, precision, and resilience to noise and reflections. This two-part series culminates in a validated, end-to-end methodology for reliable multi-source PD identification and localization, significantly advancing the state of online condition monitoring for air-insulated substations.
