چکیده :
Abstract—E-traction motors (E-machines) in electric and hybrid vehicles are key safety-critical components of future powertrains. A major challenge lies in synchronizing the stator supply currents with the rotor position, which is essential for achieving optimal efficiency and torque control. Any error in determining the rotor position results in a mismatch in current synchronization, significantly reducing the overall system performance and potentially causing safety concerns. Therefore, the selection of a suitable rotor position sensor is of great importance. Simplicity of structure is a crucial factor for mass production and industrial applications. The use of printed circuit board (PCB) windings has recently emerged as an effective approach to reduce the complexity of sensor manufacturing. This paper presents an integrated configuration for an axial flux resolver (AFR) based on PCB technology.
