چکیده :
The rapid growth of renewable energy systems and electric vehicles has increased the importance of bidirectional AC- DC-DC converters in modern power electronics. Resonant converters are popular because they provide soft switching across the entire load range, improving performance and minimizing switching losses. However, conventional symmetrical CLLC converters face challenges when a very wide output voltage range is required. This often results in large variations in switching frequency, complicating the design of magnetic components and reducing overall efficiency. This paper presents an innovative family of resonant converters capable of achieving the full output voltage range without relying on high tank gain. Unlike previous techniques that increased tank gain to support wide outputs—causing large frequency variations and efficiency loss—the proposed method achieves full-range operation by optimizing the resonant tank parameters. The results obtained validate the proposed performance and confirm the theoretical analysis.
