چکیده :
Electrical drives based on six-phase open-end winding permanent magnet synchronous motors (OE-PMSM) have gained significant attention in high-power applications over recent decades due to their high reliability. This paper focuses on controlling a specific type of such a drive, where each motor phase has a dedicated microcontroller. Since each phase is connected to an independent H-bridge single-phase inverter, the drive structure is entirely modular. Due to the absence of data exchange between microcontrollers, the motor is modeled in a stationary six-axis reference frame. Given the non-sinusoidal back-EMF voltages of the motor phases and the resulting torque ripple, as well as the inability to use conventional two-axis dq transformations and control methods based on them, the reference current shaping strategy in the stationary six-axis reference frame is employed. Consequently, harmonic quasi-proportional-resonant regulators are used to adjust the currents around their harmonic reference values. The theoretical analyses and the effectiveness of the proposed modeling and control methods are validated through several simulations in Simulink.
