چکیده :
The materials perspective of electric machines can be improved by addressing challenges such as demagnetization of permanent magnets due to high temperatures in high-speed applications and the potential benefits of soft magnetic materials. The use of semi-hard magnetic materials on the rotor of the switched reluctance motor has resulted in a new topology that can be used at 24,000 rpm in this paper. The topology is designed to reduce stator core losses while maximizing average and peak torques at high speeds with the goal of high efficiency. Switched reluctance motor design, including core loss model, stator design and innovative rotor design, is presented in full detail. Dynamic calculations are performed using the Jiles-Atherton method for hysteresis loop. The finite element method is used to obtain the electromagnetic characteristics of the studied motor. The effectiveness of the proposed strategy is verified by identifying the contributions of hysteresis and reluctance moments in the new switched reluctance motor.
