چکیده :
In this paper, we have focused on designing and simulating an axial flux permanent magnet synchronous motor (AFPMSM) for medical applications. The proposed structure follows magnetic suspension technology. In addition, the path of the magnetic flux is axial, which reduces the penetration of the magnetic field into the medical fluid, and because of this, the shear stress created by the fluid reaches the minimum possible value. This motor consists of two symmetrical stators (at both ends) and a rotor suspended between the stators and is integrated into a centrifugal pump. Four permanent magnets (PMs) are placed radially on the rotor disk. This motor has a diameter of 43 mm and a height of 55 mm, which is designed as a miniature. After determining the size equations and relationships governing this motor, this study provides a preliminary account of the magnetic motion of the proposed motor. Then the analysis of the magnetic field and torque is done using finite element analysis (FEA) simulation results.
