Winding Selection For Wound-Rotor PCB Resolver

چکیده :
Currently, a compelling solution for simplifying the manufacturing process of position sensors is the use of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) structures. This approach is characterized by high design accuracy, ease of manufacturing, reduced production costs, and minimized error in the winding process, among other advantages. However, optimizing the use of PCB area and achieving the desired output precision present significant challenges for position sensors’ design. In this paper, various winding configurations for a wound-rotor PCB resolver are presented and the key challenges encountered in the design process are addressed. To compare and identify the most suitable winding configuration, turn function method is employed, and the sensor's performance is evaluated using a hybrid analytical model.
