چکیده :
This paper introduces a new 12/16 hybrid reluctance motor (HRM). In proposed topology, permanent magnets (PMs) are parked in the rotor poles which leads to increases the air gap flux density, consequently increasing motor torque density. For driving a full bridge power electronic converter is considered for it, which can feed the motor with positive and negative excitation currents. Electromagnetic performance of the proposed HRM through the finite element method (FEM) is evaluated and compared to C-Core HRM and E-Core HRM in equal dimensions. FEM results demonstrate the torque density of the proposed motor is much higher than other HRMs.
