چکیده :
This paper introduces an innovative electric vehicle (EV) on-board chargers (OBCs) approach by integrating an Interleaved Totem Pole Power Factor Correction (PFC) converter with an asymmetrical CLLC resonant converter. The study focuses on implementing and comparing Model Predictive Control (MPC) control methods with common control methods. Simulations were conducted under two distinct conditions: start-up mode and the system's output voltage adjustments corresponding to changes in the voltage reference. The results indicate that MPC exhibits a significantly faster response time than the traditional controller in both operational modes. Furthermore, MPC demonstrates a slight performance advantage over the typical controller concerning the Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) parameter. These findings suggest that MPC offers a more efficient and effective control strategy for enhancing the performance of EV chargers.
