چکیده :
This research proposes a new topology called combined dual bridge z-source which is constructed by combining a double impedance source and a double transistor dual-bridge converter. In comparison with the dual-bridge converter, the proposed topology possesses some advantages like producing zero current switching condition in each switching at the turn-on moment, zero voltage switching condition at the turn-off moment without extra switching. Therefore, this converter can be used in some applications in which efficiency and losses is more important feature. Moreover, with combining two of double transistor dual-bridge converters, the level of the input voltage and the power transmitting will increase. In this paper, the new converter’s structure, operation basis and topology features are investigated in details. In the following, the design procedures will be investigated and ultimately the above advantages will be confirmed by comparing the experimental results.
