چکیده :
In this study, an adaptive robust pitch controller presented for NREL offshore-Baseline 5MW wind turbine. The proposed controller does not need to know the unknown nonlinearities in wind turbine and approximate them by RBF neural networks tuned adaptively. To cope with approximation error a continuous adaptive robust method is proposed which does not need the bound of approximation error and in order to continuity is chattering-free. All the adaptive rules are derived using the Lyapunov synthesis approach. Accordingly, it is proved all the closed-loop signals are semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded. Meanwhile, it is shown that the speed error can be reached to an arbitrarily small neighborhood of the origin. To derive the parameters of the proposed controller a nonlinear optimization problem is defined to consider error minimization. The optimization problem is solved using the meta-heuristic algorithms. Simulation results on the standard national renewable energy laboratory (NREL) 5MW wind turbine model demonstrate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed optimal adaptive robust pitch controller.
