چکیده :
In recent times, gearless elevator systems have garnered the interest of researchers due to their heightened efficiency, little acoustic vibration, and reduced maintenance requirements in comparison to gearbox-equipped variants. One of the primary obstacles associated with this particular application pertains to the incapacity to generate the necessary power and torque with minimal fluctuations. This limitation arises due to spatial constraints and low operating speeds. Additionally, the structural composition of gearless elevator systems poses challenges, necessitating careful consideration and prioritization in the design and development stages of electric traction motors. This study aims to conduct a comparative analysis of four different topologies, namely pole/slot topologies with dimensions of 10/12, 14/12, 14/18, and 16/18, all incorporating a V-type magnet. The analysis will be based on analytical design and performance connections. The results obtained from the study indicate that the 16/18 construction exhibits a reduced torque ripple compared to the 10/12 configuration while maintaining the same dimensions and volume of the permanent magnet. Moreover, the 16/18 topology exhibits superior power and efficiency compared to alternative configurations. The finite element analysis method was employed to optimize the geometrical characteristics of the rotor and stator design, with the aim of enhancing performance. Through the implementation of this optimization technique, the motor's ideal output torque experienced a notable rise of 2.53%, while the ripple torque exhibited a substantial improvement of 38.45% when compared to the original design. The research findings indicate that the utilization of the 16/18 topology with V-type arrays is capable of satisfying the demands of elevator applications.
